Bespoke wooden bathroom

When it comes to our bathroom; it is not very often that we make any big changes. This is usually because making wholesale changes requires replacing the suite. However, if your suite is in excellent condition, you might just fancy a bit of a change? If this is the case; bespoke joinery might be the answer for you.

Your Bathroom

Your bathroom can be your sanctuary, the place where you can relax in a nice hot bath, or wash away the troubles of your day in the shower. This means that we want this space to be as personal to you and your family as possible. Ensuring that you make the most out of every last inch of your restroom.

Where In The Bathroom?

When you walk into your bathroom, you might be look around and wonder; where you can incorporate bespoke joinery? And the answer is very simple; you can incorporate it everywhere. While we can’t offer you a timber bath, sink or toilet, we can complement your existing suite with timber features.

Removing your existing bath panel and swapping this out for a bespoke timber panel allows you to not only have the panel designed to your exact specifications and style, but it also means that you can request an access panel which would allow you to utilise the space behind the panel. Which we think is great if you have a big family, or a little one that has a selection of bath toys that need to be put away.

In recent years we have seen an increase in the bathroom sink left completely clear and unobstructed by cupboards. However, depending on the style of your suite, or even the storage space that you need, investing in a bespoke cupboard around your sink can make all the difference. Not only is it a great way to hide unattractive pipes, it means you have a great space to hide away all your other bathroom items.

How Will It Look Like A Wooden Bathroom?

The answer to this question is, it is entirely up to you. Once we have created or designed your bespoke pieces, you will have the opportunity to consider which treatment you would like on your wood. This treatment is not only to change the colour of your features, but also to ensure that the wood is protected against the damp heat that unfortunately is unfortunately a common feature in all bathrooms.

Here at Brinard Joinery, we use a selection of wood paints and treatments from Teknos. This range allows you to choose from over 100 colours, of which include a selection of wood finish stains which allow you to keep the wood appearance, to a selection of block colours, from the classic and widely loved pastel colours to bright and bold colours.

New Bathroom Suites

With painted woods being back in style in the last few years, especially with the increase in upcycling, you might be considering combining bespoke joinery with a brand new suite. We think this is a great look to freshen up your bathroom. Our design team can discuss with you exactly what you are looking for.

Designing a bathroom to incorporate your new suite can be an exciting experience for both you and our team. It allows you to decide exactly how and where you want key features and elements (including utilising those nooks and crannies that may otherwise have been overlooked or lost in the store brought design) to be.
