More and more people are opting to spend money on the home rather than to buy gifts for each other at Christmas. For many, this makes sense. Rather than spending the money on a tacky Christmas jumper, another toiletry set, or a gag gift that will end up in the cupboard, why not join together on something more substantial for the home. So what ideas do we have for you this Christmas, and how can the team here at Brinard Joinery help to make them a reality?
Built-In Wardrobes
Built-in wardrobes are one of those wonderful creations that helps you to hide away your clothes without having to have stand-alone wardrobes, which we find take up more space than needed. Many places have started to offer built-in wardrobes, however, they usually come with something missing. Some are designed to fit your space, but you don’t always get too much say in the configuration. Others arrive flat packed, then you have the fun task of installing yourself. While others you have to select from a number of options, which then means that they don’t t fit perfectly into the space, or you cant have exactly what you want.
Here at Brinard Joinery, every set of built-in wardrobes that we complete are one-off bespoke designs. This means that we can discuss exactly what you are looking for, take a number of measurements from your space before coming back to you with a design. If there’s something you want to change, it’s easily modified until it’s exactly what you want. We’ll then crack on with creating each individual piece ready to be expertly installed in your home.
What better Christmas gift to each other than a wardrobe where you won’t be arguing for space!
New Kitchen
Kitchens are a large expense in any home, no matter how big or small the kitchen itself is. It’s also one of the rooms in the home that is seldom decorated. So if you are struggling with gifts this year, but your kitchen is starting to look a little worse for wear, why not get together and treat the house rather than each other.
Kitchens are a truly unique space. While the primary use is always going to be for cooking, many people have different requirements for their kitchen. From storage space, hidden compartments, increased plug sockets, doors that cover your white goods. Whatever you are looking for, you will online find every element you want in one place. Bespoke kitchen joinery from Brinard Joinery.
Our team have a vast range of experience that allows them to incorporate all your needs and requirements into one stylish design that suits every member of your family. Remember, our experience with designing and building bespoke kitchens has left our team with a collection of knowledge as to what does and doesn’t work. So if you have an idea, and we try to encourage you against it, chances are we’ve seen it not work elsewhere and only want the best for you.

Toy Chests
Here at Brinard Joinery, we are well known for our bespoke staircases, stunning timber windows, Accoya wooden conservatories and classic country kitchens. However, that doesn’t mean that we don’t love the smaller bespoke projects when they come in. That includes the occasional toy chest!
A toy chest is a holy space for any child. It’s where they find all their favourite things. From toy cars, to dolls, building blocks, a cuddly tiger and everything in between. So who wants their child’s favourite sight to be a plain box brought from the local store?
Think outside the (toy) box and get designing something that will put a smile on your face let alone a child’s face.
If bespoke joinery is on the cards for you this Christmas, get in touch with us today to discuss your ideas and our team will get started on your design as soon as possible!
